The work
At Colin Construction I priced projects and then helped build them. That meant construction drawings and takeoffs on the front end, and engineering, procurement and construction delivery once a job was awarded.

What I did
Estimating taught me to read a set of drawings for cost and risk before anything is built. Carrying that into project engineering meant fewer surprises and a cleaner handoff to the field.
